Bob Groves is a Vice President and founding member of TM Financial
Forensics, LLC. Formerly a Managing Director of Navigant Consulting and
Vice President at Tucker Alan Inc., Mr. Groves specializes in providing
engineering and accounting consulting and expert witness testimony on
construction and government contract matters. Mr. Groves is also an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University’s School of Engineering where he teaches
a graduate class on the analysis and resolution of construction claims.
Mr.
Groves has 25 years of consulting experience in the review of schedule
delays and cost overruns on construction and government contract
programs. He has prepared and evaluated hundreds of contract claims,
performed critical path schedule delay and cost overrun analyses,
prepared settlement proposals related to contract terminations and
performed fraud and false claims investigations. Prior to beginning his
consulting career, Mr. Groves was a Schedule and Cost Engineer,
Estimator and Project Engineer for an international construction
company.
Mr. Groves has testified in state and federal civil
courts, in regulatory proceedings and arbitrations on matters involving
schedule delay and cost overrun issues on complex projects. He has also
participated in mediations and settlement negotiations. Mr. Groves has
lectured to corporations, public agencies, law firms, and industry
groups on topics including project scheduling, construction cost
overruns, schedule delay analyses and contract claims.
