Tom Peters is a forensic schedule expert, Certified Forensic Claims Consultant and a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California. He has performed expert consulting analyses on a wide variety of complex construction disputes, including healthcare facilities, five-star resort and urban real estate developments, wastewater treatment plants, port improvements, highways, airports, educational institutions and other municipal construction.
He was recognized by AACEI for technical services rendered on the development of the Recommended Practice - Forensic Schedule Analysis and received special recognition for exemplary contribution to the creation of the AACEI Planning and Scheduling Professional Certification Program. Mr. Peters was twice recognized by AACEI as an Outstanding Technical Committee Chair.
Mr. Peters lectures nationally and has been a speaker at the National CMAA, AACEI, Public Construction SuperConference and the Primavera User Conferences. He has authored numerous articles on the topic of delay and construction dispute.
Mr. Peters’ consulting expertise is supported by his previous experience as a Design Engineer, Program and Project Controls Manager, Construction Manager and General Contractor.
